Mutant Chronicles at Plymouth

So i got invited to Exeter by the Dumnonni Lads to chill out in town... but NAGH, i had already decided to go to Plymouth to watch Mutant Chronicles with Rob and Alex, and also watch Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer with Whiteboy.

Well things started difficult as when i arrived at the bus station i discovered the 86 bus to Plymouth that ive used for 10 years was no longer in service. On top of that, no busses went to Plymouth. So i whipped out my iPhone and found the times for the Trains and got a train from Barny to Eccy, then on to Plymo. Took an hour less but £3 more, but the views were nicer and no one smelled of piss.

Anyway, Mutant chronicles was kool, will get it on DVD cos its got style. Is very steampnk in that it has steam powered space ships and rust and cogs, bt with a world war 2 theme. I thought Sean Pertwee could have been in it a bit longer and have a more leading role cos he soooo needed more screen time.

After the film we went Pizza hut and chilled out, was pretty kool. Then we went back to Jays where he was still awake... he soon fell asleep though.

Woke next day in the guest room which i totally love, so bright and great view of the city. I just sat on the balcony with a cup of coffee until Whiteboy woke up and came upstairs. We then watched OUTPOST, a rather nice little 'dog soldiers' style horror movie.

eventually had to go, and catch a train back.... al in all, a nice relaxing weekend with my good friends in plymouth.
