Whiteboy gets assaulted

I got told last weekend that my Mate Jay got beaten up by some wankers who accused him of breaking a window. After questioning Jay it seems he stood his ground and was too drunk to feel the pain AND DID NOT FALL OVER, becos that would have been embarrasing.

Seriously though it just shows how random and harsh life can be. It's so easy to think 'this is it, my life's gonna be like this forever' but it's never that simple. It's a struggle sometimes, but you have to look for the positive things during those hard years. And you never know how things are gonna be from one year to the next, but to think to yourself 'this is my lot in life' will only cause you to miss opportunities to jump on new paths that may lead to great things. And by great things i dont mean becoming rich or famous, just to be happy with who you are, where you are, and what you have.

FINALLY! - upgraded me bloody iphone

FINALLY, i have it, in the off chance there might be some iPhone 3G 16GB's in stock i skipped into carphone warehouse where a rather grumpy looking assistant informed me that they did indeed have some in stock. Not only that but would i like one in black or white!!!!

So yes, i have one now, upgraded and in WHITE so i dont get it mixed up with my friends. The GPS function is funky, cant wait for Loopt to hit the uk so i can use the full power of this fully armed and operational iPhone.

Although i have one or two gripes. there is no such thing as a perfect Apple product and the iPhone is no exception. For one thing, it took me ages to restore the iphone from my previous iphone backup and something went wrong as i kept getting error message when syncing the Apps. On top of this the Camera App seems a bit buggy, im hoping it's just dodgy software update. An for god sake why cant the UK set iPhone have a 12 hour clock instead of 24, this just seems completely stupid!!!

Other than that its kool, the 3G signal (when i can get it) is marginally faster than EDGE(2G), but the best thing for me is simply the amount of space on it, i do enjoy having a lot of video and music and shit on me phone. :-)

This time last year i was wondering how the iPhone would become part of my everyday life, now i cant imagine not having one. It is central to my social and working life. Keeps me informed of what everyone in my life is doing and keeps me on track with work and routines. My whole world is there in this lil box connecting me to the people in my life from all around the world.... Spiffing :-)
